DAY 1 - Overnight flight across the Atlantic Ocean.

DAY 2 - Arrive at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport and transfer to your hotel in the Dutch lowlands. (Dinner)

DAY 3 - Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Amsterdam and cruise through the city's scenic waterways on a glass top canal boat. The afternoon is yours to explore this magnificient city. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 4 - Begin the day with a journey through the area of the 'Operation Market Garden' including a stop at the Liberation Museum in Groesbeek. Travel to the Belgium city of Lanaken for an overnight stay. (Breakfast, Dinner).

DAY 5 - Stop in Remagen, Germany before boarding a pleasure boat for an upstream ride on the enchanting Rhine River. End your day in Ochsenfurt, Germany. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 6- Travel to Nuremburg where Hitler staged his huge propaganda rallies. Tour the Party Grounds, Congress Hall and Palace of Justice. Continue on toward Munich, your home for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Dinner).

DAY 7 - A free day to enjoy the Bavarian capital of Munich. This evening, treat yourself to the Hofbrauhaus dinner . (Breakfast)

DAY 8 - Pay a thought-provoking visit to the Dachau Concentration Camp. Travel to the northern edge of Germany's Black Forest with stop in the city of Ulm, before reaching your hotel near Baden-Baden. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 9 - Travel through the scenic Alsace Region and the Vosges Mountains to Saverne, sight of heavy fighting in the fall of 1944. In the afternoon, visit Lorraine's American Ceremony in St. Avold on the way to your hotel for the next two nights in Thionville, France. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 10 - Travel to Luxembourg, site of the American Cemetery where General Patton is buried. Near Bastogne, Belgium, visit the Historical Center and the star-shaped Mardasson Monument to the soldiers who died in the Ardennes battle. (Breakfast).

DAY 11 - Tour the WWI battlefields and memorials near Verdun. Visit the Fleury Memorial Museum before heading the Compiègne, France. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 12 - Head to Normandy for a two-night stay. Tour the Caen Peace Memorial and Museum. (Breakfast, Dinner).

DAY 13 - The entire day is spent touring the famous Normandy Landing Beaches with a visit to the D-Day Landing Museum. (Breakfast).

DAY 14 - Travel to Paris for a day to explore. Come along on the Seine river cruise & Eiffel tower excursion. Join your group this evening on the Paris by night (Breakfast, Dinner).

DAY 15 - Departures

Accommodation - 15 nights/14 days - 3* hotel is not far from the center so you are within walking distance of the main monuments.

Accommodation and Meals - On bed and breakfast basis on both the 8 and 11 day tour. We use 3* & 4* hotels in/near to village centres. All rooms have ensuite facilities. You will be free to organize your dinner from the wide choice of restaurants in town.
